MEAUSRE MAGAZINE 2025- ​

 

Measure Magazine is a student-produced fashion publication at Marist University, and I had the opportunity to contribute to its overall visual identity. Working in such a collaborative environment encouraged both creative exploration and meaningful feedback, which helped all of us grow and refine our ideas. One of my main contributions was designing an editorial spread featuring a senior fashion student’s collection, which was later showcased in the annual Silver Needle Runway Show, a signature event for Marist’s Fashion Program. I also collaborated with a teammate to design the Table of Contents. I introduced the concept of stacked books to represent each section, while she brought in a blue cursive typeface that added an elegant touch to the design. In addition, I created layouts for four written pieces provided by the Editorial Team, translating their stories into visually engaging pages. Throughout the semester, our class worked closely across departments, from photography to writing, to produce a cohesive final publication. This experience strengthened my ability to tell stories through layout, maintain a consistent brand across pages, and design with the reader’s experience in mind from beginning to end.
