This charcoal drawing was created during my Basic Drawing course in the spring semester of my freshman year at Marist University. Throughout the class, we focused on observational drawing,

using charcoal to carefully study light, shadow, form, and proportion. This skull drawing took nearly two months to complete. Shortly after completing the piece, I learned it had been selected for the 2023 Annual Student Exhibition.
